James Mayr: I graduated from Rocky Point in 2008 and studied English and music at Binghamton University, where I was in the Pep Band and Wind Ensemble. I also co-founded a music organization, Explorchestra: The Composers' Orchestra (https://www.facebook.com/BUExplorchestra/, https://bengaged.binghamton.edu/organization/explorchestra), in which all music performed by the 30-person ensemble is written by its members.
I'm now working at a technology startup in New York City, but I'm still making music. I'm a member of a 5-piece indie rock band (https://www.facebook.com/officialunderblue, https://soundcloud.com/officialunderblue) and I continue to compose orchestral works in my free time (https://www.facebook.com/jamesmayr, https://soundcloud.com/jamesmayr).
